AEM 30-4900

Brand AEM
Model 30-4900
Output Type Differential mode (signal ground and power supply ground are different)
Sensor Type Bosch LSU 4.2
Fuse 5A

Wideband controller with display. Can be connected to 12V battery or a 12V/5A power supply.

Typical installation is a fixed installation in the exhaust pipe, a few centimeters after the manifold junction. In dynamometers, it can be used with an adapter at the exhaust pipe outlet as explained here.

IMPORTANT

Read the manufacturer's instructions and follow the recommendations for position, mounting, and fuse.

GROUND CONNECTIONS

This lambda sensor controller has differential output, while the Accudyno system has common mode input. Therefore, for a correct reading, the analog ground (Analog Output -), the power supply ground (Power Supply Negative -), and the Accudyno ground (IN -) must be connected to the same point. See the figure.

Cable/Color Function GO/PRO Gyra/Forza
White Analog Output (+) Accudyno IN+ (AFR Pin 3) AIN1
Brown Analog Output (-) Accudyno IN- (AFR Pin 2) and Battery(-) GND
Red Power Supply Positive (+) Battery(+)
Black Power Supply Negative (-) Accudyno IN- (AFR Pin 2) and Battery(-) GND

Calibration

Voltage Lambda AFR (Gasoline)
0.5 V 0.58 8.5
4.5 V 1.23 18.0
