Software Installation

If you have an external weather station, connect it to the data acquisition interface.

Then connect the data acquisition to the PC through the USB cable.

Download the latest version of the installer from the download page.

Run the installer and follow the instructions on the screen.

Installation Wizard

The installation wizard runs the first time you open the software.

1. The frist stage is the identification of the hardware model. If a HARDWARE NOT DETECTED message appears, check all connections and try again.

2. The next step is the selection of the brand and model of the dyno. We currently have a database of the different models of the MWD brand. If your bench is not an MWD brand, select 'Other Manufacturer' option.

3. Once the brand has been identified, select the type of dyno and then select the moment of inertia and the diameter in case of a chassis dyno. The moment of inertia is provided by the dyno manufacturer. It can also be calculated based on the measurements of the roller or flywheel using our app. If you don't have the moment of inertia, you can enter any value. You can change it later from the OptionsSettingsInertia menu.

4. Next, the weather station unit will be detected. In the case of older hardware models, it must be selected manually.

5. At the end of the Installation Wizard you will be given the option to activate the software.

Factory Reset

If you wish to run the installation wizard again, you can do so from the Help menuInstallation Wizard. This is useful in case you need to reconfigure the system or reset it to its original factory settings.
