Buy

With Accudyno Forza Starter data acquisition system, you can add computer measurement to any dynamometer. Thanks to the included inertial measurement technology, it will compensate for irregularities in controlling of the dyno and allow the combined measurement of power absorbed in the brake and the inertial power. You will measure the speed, power and torque of your engine.

It can be applied on inertial rollers or on engine dynos with eddy current or hydraulic dynamometers. It has no maximum power limitations to be measured, so you can use it on motorcycles, karts, quads, cars or trucks.

Results

All the information obtained from the data acquisition module is displayed in a software that works under Windows. You can view them in real time or as a report with instantaneous, maximum, average values, as well as the power and torque curves of the engine. These values can be compared to measure the differences in the face of any changes or alterations you have made to the engine. In a few minutes you will be able to find the best combination of parts and engine configurations, before testing on the track.

Measurement of Multiple Engine Parameters

This is the data that the Accudyno Gyra Starter will display:

  • Engine and Wheel RPM.
  • Engine or Wheel Power, both weather corrected or uncorrected.
  • Losses. Measurement of the amount of HP that is lost in transmission elements, such as gearbox, chain, tires.
  • Climate correction factor corrected by international standards, entering temperature, pressure and humidity manually or automatically with our weather station.
  • Torque, at the dyno, inertial or combined.
  • Speed
  • Transmission ratio. Reveals clutch status or detects slippage (requires engine RPM sensor not included)
  • Carburation by lambda probe. Indicates the instantaneous value of the fuel mixture along the power curve.
  • Average values. To evaluate the operation between two RPM values.
  • Acceleration time.

Frequentle Asked Questions

Does this system have any power limit? Accudyno software has no limitations on the power to be measured. In the case of load cell measurement, there is a torque limit according to the capacity of the load cell. The limit in inertial mode is given by the construction of the test bench, that is, by the inertia of the roller.
Can I use it with my dyno? Accudyno Forza is designed to be adapted to any brand of dynamometer. You only need to adapt the load cell and the rotation sensor. In the case of refurbishing a used dynamometer, it is often possible to reuse the old sensors.
Do you have any plan to build my own dyno? We don´t have detailed plans for the construction of test dynos. We can advise you on the size of the main inertia flywheel or roller, according to the engine power, so that the acceleration time is the minimum necessary to be able to measure correctly. We can also help you in the selection of the right dynamometer.
Does it include a load cell? Yes. We include an “S” type load cell. We use 200Kg for engine dynos and 500Kg for chassis dynos, but you can order with other ranges, according to your dynamometer construction.
Does it include weather sensors? Our automatic weather station is sold separately. Check out Accudyno Kayros. Our system can also be used without an automatic weather station, entering the weather data manually.
Do you help me with the installation? Our system is designed to be easily installable by the user. You will find the installation instructions in the online manual. If you need help installing the software, you can call a computer technician in your city. You don’t need to be a specialist as our software is downloaded and installed like any other software. In addition, you can always contact us by Whatsapp with any questions you have.
Does it have automatic load control? Our Forza Starter system does not have automatic dynamometer load control. The Forza Pro model will have the possibility to drive the dynamometer power supply or a stepper motor controller to automate a motorized valve.
Can I use it on a Hub Dyno? This model features one dynamometer rotation input and one load cell input. We are working on a new model specifically for Hub Dynos that will have 2 rotation and 2 load cell inputs.
How do I make the purchase? We don’t have the shopping cart system up and running yet. To purchase our products please contact us by Whatsapp.
